Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (ToS) apply to all services offered by Lockva, an escrow platform operated by Valdi SASU, with capital of €500, registered with the Aix-en-Provence RCS under number 983791724, with registered office at 190 rue Topaze, 13150 Eguilles, France.

They are accessible at any time on the Lockva website and will prevail over any other document. Use of our services implies full acceptance of these terms.

Escrow service

Lockva is a secure escrow platform that facilitates transactions between clients and service providers.

Available services

Lockva offers the following services:

• Escrow service for secure payments
• Identity verification of parties
• Management of funds pending validation
• Release of payments according to agreed conditions
• Real-time transaction tracking
• Customer service and mediation in case of dispute

Lockva's role

Lockva acts as a trusted third party and holds funds until validation of the service by the client or according to defined contractual conditions.

Transaction steps

The Lockva transaction process is as follows:

• Client and service provider agree to use Lockva as escrow service
• Client deposits funds into the Lockva escrow account
• Service provider performs the agreed service
• Client validates the conformity of the service
• Lockva releases funds to the service provider
• In case of dispute, Lockva intervenes as mediator

Release conditions

Funds are released automatically according to criteria defined when creating the transaction or upon explicit validation by the client.

Pricing

Lockva rates are as follows:

• Service commission: 2.5% of transaction amount (minimum €5)
• Bank transfer fees: according to current bank rates
• No registration or subscription fees
• Billing only for successful transactions

Payment methods

Payments are accepted by credit card, SEPA transfer and electronic wallet. All prices are indicated in euros including tax.

Refund

In case of cancellation before service delivery, funds are fully refunded to the client, minus any bank fees.

Fund security

Lockva commits to:

• Keep funds in segregated bank accounts
• Comply with banking and financial regulations
• Apply the strictest security measures
• Ensure complete transaction traceability
• Maintain professional liability insurance

Liability limitations

Lockva is not responsible for the quality of services performed between clients and service providers. Our responsibility is limited to the escrow service and payment security.

Identity verification

All users must provide valid identification documents and accurate information during registration.

Compliant use

Users agree to:

• Use the service within legal framework only
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Respect service validation deadlines
• Report any problem or dispute promptly
• Not bypass the Lockva payment system

Withdrawal period

In accordance with the Consumer Code, you have 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to services already started with your express agreement before the end of the withdrawal period.

Amicable resolution

In case of dispute, we invite you to contact our customer service to seek an amicable solution. Lockva can intervene as mediator between clients and service providers.

Consumer mediation

In accordance with the Consumer Code, Lockva adheres to the Consumer Mediation service. You can use this service free of charge for unresolved disputes.

Competent jurisdiction

Failing amicable resolution, the Paris courts will have sole jurisdiction for any dispute relating to these ToS.
